    Aerohive is looking for a dynamic motivated Senior WW Planning Manager to develop its forecasting process and be our Subject Matter Expert (SME/Demand Planning).  In this role, you will have an opportunity to utilize your business acumen, influencing, strategic, project management, and analytical skills to deliver timely and relevant demand forecasts.  You will own the demand forecasting and planning for all Aerohive business.   As the Principal, WW Planning Manager, this worldwide leadership role is pivotal to the continued growth of Aerohive Devices.


    Specifically, you will develop, maintain and improve data-driven demand models to provide accurate forecasts in an ever-changing business environment.  You own and drive strategic decisions, manager new product launches for all Aerohive devices.  You will also complete root cause analyses and develop mitigation plans for any unexpected demand changes.  You are adept at contributing to the improvement of Aerohive demand forecasting by developing automated tools that improve the speed and accuracy of both product and accessories forecasts.  Additionally, you are comfortable working with cross-functional teams and using analytics to improve forecasting methods. You will be required to analyze large amounts of data, identify significant trends, and adjust to meet an ever-evolving demand landscape. You will work with a strong team of Operations, Sales and Marketing, PLM, NPI team leaders with a wide and rich experience in the industry who are willing to adapt new technologies.  You can effectively communicate data analysis, changes to model inputs/outputs, and forecast impacts which have relevance to business operations to a broad audience. You are also a creative problem solver passionate about building, maintaining, and driving innovative technology-based solutions to deliver outstanding customer service while streamlining the process.  In detail, you will  have Work cross functionally with PLM, Marketing Engineering, Procurement, Sale Operations, NPI team, logistics and our Executive Team. You will develop AOP, BOQ, and monthly forecast plans which become POR, while executing the most cost-effective supply chain solutions.


    • Prepare, coordinate and lead monthly forecast review meetings with cross functional leaders and C-Level Executives
    • Analyze forecast t trends and provide key team members data for decision or executions
    • Continually monitor weekly, monthly, and YoY, QoQ and MoM trends and make financially sound adjustment as warranted
    • Monthly, develop the statistical or trend forecast by SKU, Region, Vertical and Customer
    • Generate (SKU/ Warehouse) weekly forecast from historical trends and per input from Sales Operations & Product Management Teams (Units and Dollars).
    • Engage with Sales Ops and Sales Team on pipeline, big deals, and projected sales plan vs forecast differences
    • Engage with Marketing on promotion plans and understands impacts to forecast
    • Lead weekly demand meetings with Sales Operations and PLM
    • Analyze SFDC pipeline and highlights changes from week to week and works with Sales Operations to understand impact to forecast
    • Additionally, you will understand financial and balance sheet impacts of large deals and ensure all executive buy-in
    • Communicate to sales the inventory availability, excess and shortages. Provides in stock dates for any shortages
    • Create “what if” forecast demand and supply plans as needed
    • Attend weekly Sales Ops Meeting with Europe and NAM to review pipeline and large deals
    • Responsible for Forecast Error/Accuracy
    • Responsible for in-stock weekly position
    • Responsible for On Time fulfillment (Perfect Order)
    • Responsible for Cost management (ie. Air vs. Ocean)


    • 10+ years of experience in Demand Planning and/or Channel Management
      • 7+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams
      • 5+ years of leading demand planning process
    • Superior analytical skills with extensive experience with;
      • Aptitude for blending quantitative and qualitative data
      • Adept at merging data from a variety of sources in order to generate conclusions through analysis
      • Extensive experience in analyzing large data sets and conducting ad hoc analysis.
      • Demonstrated ability to dive in and quickly understand root cause and identify scalable solutions.
      • Familiarity with the principles of statistical inventory control
    • Comfortable with ambiguity along with demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment and in parallel
    • Experience leading or working in cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion
    • Excellent business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done
    • Advanced Excel skills, including the use of macros
    • Independent self-starter with a high degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
    • Understands S&OP process and has worked in an environment with a mature process
    • Extreme attention to detail and willingness to roll up your sleeves
    • Experience with C-Level and Senior Management reporting and presenting
    • Excellent English communication skills - both verbal & written
    • Knowledge of Netsuite, SQL, Qlick View, and Zyom (advance planning tools) preferred



    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Planning, Information Systems Management. MS/MBA in Supply Chain or Operations is a plus.
