    We are seeking a creative problem solver who thrives on driving value to the Sales organization through a combination of process streamlining/simplification, policy changes, automation, business intelligence and change management.  This is a critical role in Aerohive’s Sales Operations organization and operates as a valued-advisor to Americas Sales regarding topics such as forecasting, opportunity management, deal economics & structuring, and compensation.  The role is broad in nature and provides executive-level exposure and daily interaction with Sales leadership.  As such, we are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Sales Operations, exceptional communication skills, financial and data analytics experience and a critically-strong drive to balance speed and sales execution with the fiduciary expectations of a public company.


    • Provide Sr. Leadership with financial models and evaluation of deal economics, viability and key business terms
    • Review and approve non-standard pricing requests
    • Refine processes to streamline decision making regarding deal approvals
    • Work with cross-functional stakeholders for decision support, deal solutions and seek to coach the sales teams in viable deal terms, structuring and discounting to facilitate deal closure
    • Help design, implement and manage sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes, establishing high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency
    • Support the Sales Operations team members in developing new reporting tools as needed.
    • Coordinate with sales leadership and other stakeholders to lead efficient and accurate sales reporting initiatives
    • Develop modeling to support sales coverage and capacity planning, implementation, and management
    • Lead business measurement and sales effectiveness efforts as well as sales reporting and metrics build out to provide sales reporting and metrics
    • Direct and/or indirect (dotted line) management of analysts


    • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution; master’s in business administration
    • Minimum 10 years of sales operations or sales management experience in an enterprise sales environment
    • Strong business acumen.  Prior sales, contracts management, or business consulting experience preferred.
    • Experience as a manager of a sales operations, business planning, or sales support team is a strong plus.
    • Experience successfully managing analytically rigorous corporate initiatives
    • Prior experience in the enterprise hardware space a plus.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

    • Detailed oriented and analytical mind with a drive to seek the truth and drive what is right for the organization and company at large
    • Deal Desk, Business Development or Deal structuring experience strongly preferred
    • Outstanding collaboration and communication skills, and proven ability to work across the organization to solve complex issues
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Excellent project management skills
    • Intelligence: Ability to learn new technologies quickly


    Desired education level:

    • Bachelor’s degree, Masters’ degree preferred; project management certification a plus.
