As a part of the security products organization, the security technical marketing team helps plan the next generations of our security products, providing critical hands on testing, research, and viewpoints. We teach people how to use our security products – delivering timely training to sales engineers and support staff. We help sell and market our products by producing compelling written guides and videos and by crafting demo environments for sales and customers to use and experience. And we help customers maximize their use of the product, explaining and demonstrating the compelling stuff that makes Aerohive shine, even helping out with deployments when needed.     • Become subject matter expert and advisor for Aerohive security products such as A3
    • Perform competitive product research and testing to validate fact vs. fiction and produce incisive competitive briefs and honest capability assessments about competing authentication, onboarding, and security products
    • Develop and deliver training materials on new products, features, and technologies to sales engineers and support staff. Training may include in-person classes, webinars, blogs, videos, or tailored one on one sessions
    • Author technical whitepapers, blogs, solution briefs, evaluation guides, and videos describing how products and features are used and best deployed
    • Contribute to marketing requirements, product specification, and product design reviews with Product Management and Engineering, providing valuable real-world, hands-on perspective.
    • Create and maintain compelling demo environments and related instructional documentation


    • A detailed understanding of authentication, device onboarding, wireless LANs, and switching is required. Experience with Network Access Control solutions like HPE ClearPass, Cisco ISE, ForeScout, or PacketFence is desired
    • A self-driven attitude, and ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities. Ability to rapidly learn related technologies and vendor solutions on the fly
    • Experienced with Linux or Unix server administration is preferred
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
    • Comfortable teaching and presenting to small classroom or webinar audiences
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide examples of previous work


    • A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
    • At least three to five years of experience in computer networking or security as a technical marketing engineer, system engineer, or support engineer, with technical marketing experience preferred
    • Certifications for NAC, SAM, RADIUS or other authentication technologies are desired
