  • Job Summary

    We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual with great communication skills to join our Opportunity Development Team at Aerohive Networks. Our ODR’s are self-starters who are passionate about technology with a focus on our solution and how it meets the needs of the end user/partner. The ODR’s priority will be setting qualifying meetings from marketing generated inbound leads.   We are looking for someone who wants to maximize their potential and grow their career at Aerohive Networks. 


    • Responsible for sourcing new opportunities by following up on inbound marketing-generated leads
    • Conduct dynamic introductory calls with prospects to qualify leads and educate them on Aerohive solutions
    • Work in Salesforce.com to manage your leads, activities and conversions to opportunities
    • Meet daily, weekly and monthly activity and conversion goals
    • Execute the lead qualification process in a timely manner by contacting customers via phone and/or email to validate their needs
    • Support Marketing project-based initiatives that grow awareness, interest, and demand
    • Ensure hand-offs to field sales, business development and support and exceed customer expectation
    • Reporting on sales goals


    • 2+ yrs. Business to Business (b2b) lead qualification/appointment setting experience
    • Develop in-depth knowledge of products, markets and key customers for targeted projects and initiatives
    • Excellent telephone voice and pitch capability
    • Outgoing, personable, eager and professional demeanor when interacting with customers and prospects
    • Salesforce.com experience a plus
    • Self-motivated and self-directed learning abilities
    • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word and Excel)
    • Bachelor’s Degree or experience in lieu of degree
