  • Job Summary

    Aerohive Networks is searching for a professional, self-motivated individual to fill the role of a Junior Logistics Manager.  This role is key to support the management and day-to-day activities of the third-party warehousing and logistics for products in EMEA.   The individual taking on this role will have hands-on responsibility for ensuring the company’s every day operational Logistics activities run smoothly and efficiently.   All related warehouse fulfillment activities by the logistics provider as well as office implementation activities will be the primary responsibility of this key member of our team.  Implementation of warehouse process improvement and establishing new methods to achieve cost savings while implementing best practices in third party product fulfillment, warehousing, vendor management, KPI and Quality tracking, and execution of department processes are essential requirements of the job. 


    What you will do:

    • Manage the Netherlands 3PL Warehouse relationship to include day-to-day planning, execution, KPI’s, and QBR’s.

    • Support onboarding and operational relationships for global Partner stocking programs in EMEA and APAC

    • Interface with Aerohive Operations, Finance, Sales Operations, and Support in developing attainable best in class customer satisfaction programs

    • Work very close with Order Management to ensure on time shipping targets are met

    • Collaborate with 3PL warehouse provider(s) to meet VAS demands (kitting, testing, labelling)

    • Implement Cost and Quality KPI metrics reporting weekly, monthly, quarterly etc.

    • Communicate stock shortage recovery plan to Sales Operations

    • Work with Finance to coordinate quarter-end shipping priorities and activities (last 5 in / first 5 out)

    • Manage RMA processes with regional spares warehouses

    • Lead efforts in achieving world class 3PL Inbound, IQC, Stocking & Outbound programs

    • Evaluate industry logistics best practices to identify new and/or unique programs to achieve customer satisfaction goals

    • Support the Global Logistics Manager Team in defining and managing to the contract, statement of work and pricing schedules

    • Support the Transportation Manager in developing & publishing routing guides

    • Support the Global Trade Compliance Manager in adhering to local Import/Export regulations

    • Obtain General Export License and Global Export license relating to Dual Use items for export to Norway, Switzerland, US and Turkey.

    • Import regulations for EMEA regions

    • VAT registration for all incoming/outgoing shipments into the EU

    • Ability to work with Global Trade Compliance Manager to identify EU ECN and HTS numbers, and ensure EU requirements are defined within Global Trade Compliance Procedures.

    • Establish and implement business processes and procedures for the Logistics Operations

    • Develop and manage logistics budgets

    • Responsible for internal communications and presentations related to key performance metrics of programs (On time deliveries, Cost to budget, ROI analysis of previous cost programs to proposed, etc.)

    • Experience working with small parcel carriers, carrier manifesting systems.

    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, and work cross-functionally with EMEA and US teams.

    • Setup Logistics Operation management system, making use of NetSuite, Access, Qlikview and Excel in order to keep track of overall performance 3PL, Non-Conformities, providing information to Order Management department and perform root-cause analysis.

    • Ability to work cross-functionally within EMEA and with US HQ teams.


    Who you are:

    • Min 8 years of experience in global logistics management

    • Knowledgeable in US, APAC, & EMEA transportation and trade requirements

    • Experience in warehouse/planning/forecasting in a high tech environment

    • Some experience selecting and building 3PL, freight carriers, broker relationships, and distribution partners

    • Ability to gather and assimilate large amounts of data into actionable recommendations

    • Familiar with ERP, WMS, TMS

    • Expert in MS Office

    • Lean Certification is an added bonus

    • Experience working for and/or managing 3PL warehouse provider

    • Experience with EU import/export compliance, including import/export documents preferred.

    • EDI Project management experience is highly desirable

    • Excellent communication skills with customers, internal clients, vendors

    • Working independent

    • Hands-on-job, no direct report

    Your Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Operations, or related field, or equivalent
