    This Logistics Manager role reports to the VP of Global Supply Chain and Manufacturing and is a strategic leadership role which requires managing third party warehousing and logistics with the key responsibility for ensuring the company’s every day operational Logistics activities run smoothly and efficiently.  In this role, you will be hands-on while managing a team of professionals responsible for the day-to-day logistics execution, as well as review, develop, and implement new methods to achieve cost savings while delivering best practices in third party product fulfillment, warehousing, vendor selections, negotiation, and two-tier distribution for the Company.  This individual will be key to define, develop, and implement strategies and/or new capabilities for Aerohive’s global warehouse and distribution network.

    Responsibilities

    • Our Company is searching for a professional, self-motivated individual to fill the role of Logistics Manager. The individual candidate for this role will need to have a blend of hands-on applied experience in Order Processing, warehouse management, logistics fulfillment, planning, creating and driving to key KPI’s, conducting Quarterly Business Reviews with partners, with a high degree of analytical skills, as well as capable of direct management and supervision of a group of logistic professionals in the department. The leader in this role must be capable of driving the logistics strategy, planning and implementation for our warehouse fulfillment with high quality and excellent track record for inventory control.
    • This individual will be responsible for managing the company’s global logistics program with focus on Forward and Reverse Logistics, new partner onboarding, and drive strategies to optimize service and cost
    • Lead a Logistics team and measure performance in Supplier Technology, Quality, Responsiveness,Delivery, and Cost (TQRDC)
    • This individual must be an expert in supply chain and logistics best practices. Key areas of success include: Warehouse Operations, Transportation International and Domestic, Distribution, 3PL/CM/ODM Management, Order fulfillment Operations and Project Management.
    • The individual must possess strong analytical and technical background, highly capable with a proven record with solid decision-making process to drive out costs while maintaining operation effectiveness.
    • The ideal candidate will need to devise and implement strategies to reduce total supply chain cycle time by engaging with internal departments and external partners
    • Ensure compliance with specified contracts metrics, operational, and personnel activities as well as maintain high standards of operational activities
    • The candidate will Selectively drive warehouse process optimizations as needed in support of other partners processes and procedures with the aim to gain efficiencies and productivity
    • The candidate will be responsible for the facilitation of system improvements, process enhancements, change management, training, education, and metric analysis
    • The candidate will collaborate with all areas in operations and cross-functionally to ensure business objectives are achieved i.e. customer service, warehouse planning, sales and order entry
    • This individual will maintain a strong working knowledge of transactional workflow through company's departments with particular understanding of procedures and policies within the supply chain organization
    • Maintain familiarity with company's products
    • Support a team-oriented work environment and mindset

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Business or related field
    • 7-10 or more years in high tech global logistics, warehouse/planning/forecasting and/or IT related experience
    • 5 years in a people management role in an equivalent area of responsibility
    • Experience selecting and building 3PL, freight carriers, broker relationships, and distribution partners
    • Experience in leading EDI and IT projects
    • ERP Super-user, NetSuite Preferred
    • Solid understanding of data analysis including advanced proficiency with Excel and other tools
    • Comfortable with mining large data sets to identify trends and seek answers
    • Exceptional results orientated with a high degree of personal initiative
    • Comfortable in an environment with high rate of change
    • Ability to transform problems into practical business solutions
    • Work well under pressure and against deadlines
    • Highly skilled in organization, prioritization, and attention to detail
    • Excellent communication skills with customers, internal clients, vendors, etc.
    • Ability to work cross functionally and through all levels of a company
