  • Job Summary

    Join Aerohive Network’s dynamic Sales organization as an Inside Systems Engineer, where you will have the exciting role of working with our account managers, inside sales team, and channel partners in presenting Aerohive's solution offerings and architecture to prospects and customers. You will be responsible for evoking confidence in Aerohive's functionality and technology infrastructure, and removing all technical objections, including competitive, in the sales cycle.  The position requires understanding the needs of Aerohive customers and translating those needs into an Aerohive solution, which is then conveyed by the Inside Systems Engineer to the customer, through a variety of means including presentations and evaluations to demonstrate Aerohive's functional and technical capabilities. You are a critical team member in the continuing dramatic growth of Aerohive Network - the market leader in cloud enabled unification of the mobile-centric network edge.

    Responsibilities

    • Meet quarterly and annual quota objectives working in tandem with the Inside and Field Sales teams
    • Proactively provide systems engineering support to the Inside and Channel sales team throughout the sales process to ensure Aerohive solutions are successfully showcased
    • Promote Aerohive solutions and provide technical information to end-users, channel partners and technology partners, predominantly via remote and occasional face-to-face presentations, live interactive demos and set up of product evaluations
    • Maintain clear competitive awareness, positioning and differentiation relating to Aerohive technologies, services and solutions
    • Assist Channel Partners in building their sales engineer skills/people by teaching the Channel Partner SE how to qualify, prepare and deliver winning Aerohive solutions
    • Develop, iterate and share effective and efficient presentation tools and demo techniques fopr remote delivery
    • Share knowledge, experience and expertise through contributions to the various internal and customer forums, discussion groups and Aerohive community areas
    • Provide input and feedback to other Aerohive departments pertaining to customer requests and product enhancements
    • Deliver assistance to customer service to drive customer satisfaction

    Qualifications

    • Proven track record of supporting the sales process by preparing and delivering value based solution demonstrations to End User Customers with and thru Field Sales, VAR’s and System Integrators
    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • 3+ years experience in pre-sales for a wireless, network infrastructure or network security company
    • Firm understanding of TCP/IP networking, including routing switching and wireless (WLAN),
    • Authentication experience, including RADIUS and Active Directory. Open LDAP and eDirectory is also helpful
    • High degree of passion and ability to evangelize an idea or concept
    • Wireless domain experience – RF propagation, 802.11 protocol and security
    • This is a HQ based role that can include up to 50% travel.
