  • Job Summary

    Aerohive cloud platform was built from the ground up as a modern distributed system to manage large number of network devices around the world. We are looking for an experienced QA engineer to test and maintain our high level of quality on our next generation cloud-based HiveManager NMS.

    Successful candidate is required to have solid wired and WiFi networking knowledge, and execute with NMS feature/system testing with automation. The candidate is also expected to lead and influence the team to maintain a quality-driven release culture using the Aglie process.

     

    Responsibilities

    What you will do...

     

    The Principle QA Engineer is responsible for testing and automation of the Aerohive HiveManager product. In this role, the engineer is expected to perform planning and execution for the testing of each release. It includes but not limited to working with product managers, developers, and guiding the QA team towards continuous delivery of high quality software.

     

     

     

    Qualifications

    Who you are...

    • 8+ industry experience in networking and related field
    • CCNA or equivalent knowledge and experience
    • CWNA or equivalent knowledge and experience
    • Automation: Python and Selenium is required. Familiarity with robot-framework is a plus
    • Experience with testing on cloud-based architectures
    • Experience with setting up and test using VM
    • Experience testing APIs
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Leadership skills to influence team towards quality-driven development
    • Familiar with Agile development and testing process and environment
    • Experience working with remote (international) teams

     

     

    Education:

    BS in Computer Science or equivalent. MS preferred
