Job Summary

The Channel Account Manager will assist the National Partner Director and Aerohive’ sales organization drive sales with CDW nationally and is key to Aerohive's successful relationship with this national Partner. This person will be involved in the day to day relationship between Aerohive and CDW to aggressively grow Aerohive’s share of CDW’s networking/wireless business. This will require significant face time with CDW’s sales teams to plan/ execute/work engagement across both organizations as well as develop and execute the joint partner business plan. This is a high energy position requiring an individual to be extremely motivated and results-driven; it will also require someone who is equally comfortable working in a strategic and tactical capacity. As a member of the Aerohive sales team, you must be a self-starter and possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivation, and intense enthusiasm. A proven track record of success, exemplary sales skills, territory planning/execution, vision and patience, are all critical factors to successfully supporting the exponential growth of the company anticipated over the coming years.

Responsibilities

What you will do... 

  • Enable CDW to sell Aerohive product as a sales channel
  • Facilitate sales team engagement across both companies
  • Achieve key business goals and revenue quotas
  • Uncover new business opportunities
  • Provide sales forecasting and pipeline management
  • Engage with customers on conference calls and recommend solutions
  • Conduct one to many partner communications & training
  • Participate in marketing events
  • Daily on-site presence at CDW office location

Qualifications

Who you are... 

 

  • 5+ years of IT sales/channel experience
  • Proven sales background, with a track record of success
  •  Previous CDW experience is required
  • Great teamwork, interpersonal, and customer-relations skills, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Energetic, get-it-done attitude, with a hunger to achieve results

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
