Job Summary

Aerohive is looking for a talented individual to join our team as Field Marketing Specialist. In this role, you will be integral to the Marketing Department in assisting with the success of all marketing initiatives and events in the Central/North East region. 

The ideal candidate is scrappy, with an upbeat, can-do attitude and impeccable attention to detail. A natural inclination to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities, strong project management skills, and the ability to think strategically and orchestrate many moving parts is a must.


In this high-visible role, you will be exposed to all aspects of Marketing and will have the opportunity to learn and grow with the company. The right candidate is an intelligent and passionate individual who is an entrepreneur at heart.

Responsibilities

"What you will do..."

  • Plan and execute all elements of regional Aerohive customer and prospect events
  • Work with AVP to build field marketing plan within budget parameters
  • Coordinate joint events with Aerohive partners
  • Collaborate with Central/Northeast regional sales field for participation and staffing at events
  • Work with the Product Marketing team for content and any speaking needs
  • Help drive attendance to events through email marketing and social media
  • Communicate marketing activities, campaigns, and events with sales team and track in the America’s calendar
  • Provide monthly event performance reports, event budgets, metrics, and follow up to sales field and management
  • Set up and host joint webinars with partners for local lead generation
  • Assist with producing, prepping, tracking, shipping and maintaining event equipment and materials
  • Execute email campaigns to help drive traffic to the events
  • Manage lead flow from event to Marketing Ops team for marketing automation and SFDC importing and tracking
  • Work with ODR (Opportunity Development Reps) and sales to ensure leads are properly routed and followed up on in a timely manner 

Qualifications

"Who you are..."

  • 4+ years experience of tradeshows, field marketing, webinars
  • Experience managing event budgets and deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional program and project management skills
  • Strong team player with initiative, a positive attitude and proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven creative ability and resourcefulness in generating new ideas and solving problems
  • Build and maintain proactive involvement with all levels of staff and community members
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Proven organization skills
  • Excellent oral and communication skills
  • 30-40% travel is required (valid US passport also required)
  • Marketo, Salesforce, Webinar platform experience a plus

Education:

Bachelors (BA / BS) degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent relevant experience
